I hate this question! It starts with either me or David pinging the other one sometime in the middle of the afternoon and asking What's for dinner? If I'm cooking it will be some form of chicken. If David is 'cooking' it will have been once frozen.

Tonight was a special night... I had a bit of a sore throat [allergies] and I'm tired so David was in charge of dinner. We were going to have once frozen pizza. David got it going - preheated the oven, removed the plastic wrapper, popped it in the oven... after a while & a funny smell I asked if he had set the timer. Nope! He removed a black pizza from the oven. Then he pulled the pizza cutter out of the drawer. I'm not sure what he was thinking but NO WAY.

I'm enjoying a Wendy's burger now.

Well to look on the bright side, at least there are TWO cooks in your family. This one-&-only cook tries to vary from frozen to beef (to bacon...had to throw that in for Lois' sake). We had chicken nuggets & fries this evening: Rather blah if you ask me but at least it's quick. (Don't tell them I said that!) But the good news is: daughter will be home from college in just 16 days. Woo Hoo! And she loves to cook!!! It's BREAK time for me!

Well, I am the queen of burning. If he needs any tips on how to really burn something and smoke up the house with that wonderful aroma of burned garlic bread, send him my way! This weekend, I burned the hard boiled eggs!

I'll tell you what I'd like to have for dinner EVERY night.....

BOBBY FLAY. YEAH. I made a halibut recipe from a book of his last night. It had grilled peaches, jalepeno pepper, onion, balsamic, mint and olive oil. OH MY GOD. That man has the BEST recipes!! If he were single, and I were single, we'd be married for sure!!!!

Shirley - I'm not a big fish fan but I had good halibut recently and that makes it sound even better!

BTW - Have you seen who Bobby is married to? The Law and Order lady? Even if I wasn't married I have a feeling I wouldn't have a snowballs chance in Haiti...
