Hi Pam,

My name is Pat, Its nice to meet you. I've been on workspace for a few weeks now. I'm from the biggest city in Michigan - Detroit. There are so many cities in Michigan, I've never heard of Evart. I need to get out more! We've been going through a lot of changes down here as you know. We have a new mayor now and things are looking hopeful. I have been looking for a work at home job and I just got hired with Ver-a-fast. I've mailed in my paperwork, I'm expecting a email from them as to when I can start next. I've also applied with Speak-write (formerly cybersecretaries). They hire people to do transcription, mostly legal, I used to be a legal secretary, so if you know anybody that used to work in a law firm, they said they have more than enough work and are hiring - pay averages $15.00 depending on your hours and how fast you can type. I have some other irons in the fire too. I'm nervous about working on the phone, but I've heard that the work is easy and quick - verifying newpaper subscriptions and 1 upsell. The lady that called me said I should make $150 - 200 per week after the first month. Every little bit helps!

Hi, I'm from Brooklyn MI. I just passed my background/cc from Live-ops so will be working soon. Wow, I am so excited. We can sure use the money since things aren't getting any better economically. You're northern Mi, I'm located in Southern Mi, Patricia is in the Eastern part of Mi so it looks like we will be friends from a distance. Are you working still working Live-ops and what are you doing? I am supposed to be doing DR. Can you give me some tips on how to get started and what I need to study to pass the quizes? I will have my phone line tomorrow and will venture into the site to start my certification. Are the quizes difficult?

Glad you are working. Sometimes I miss a quiz question, but then I just review and try again. Remember that you will get many products, not just the ones you need to certify, so in your spare time try to learn a few new products by opening up the scripts and reading through or linking to the infomercials or the client website to learn more about the products.

I never quit trying to learn.

Not as fun as chatting, but it helps you learn!

I will add you and Patricia to my friends list, but done for tonight. :-) ;-) . . . and I'm tired!
