Hello everyone.. I've been searching for WAH job/business since January and this site has been the most informative of them ALL!!!! I currently own a retail store however I have 5 non-money making hours prior to opening for the day. So I thought I could get a data entry type position to bring in some extra funds. I thought I posted a message on the "Other Venture WAH job/business" forum but I don't see it posted..

Look forward to all the information/insite you guys have to offer!

Hello everyone, my name is Tammy. I'm a newbie to this site. I'm originally from Chicago but have been living in So California for almost 20yrs now. I've worked in mtg banking all my life--in fact,it's all I know how to do, but due to market conditions I've lost my job and have been desperately looking for a new career that I can actually make a decent living at. I love the idea of being self employed or working from home. I did try applying w/Liveops but they told me that they are not accepting So Cali agents as of now. So, my search goes on.I love all the information given on this site. Keep up the good work. If anyone has any opportunities that have low start up costs please let me know. (P.S I have no sales experience).

Hello Everyone,

I'm LuLu and I am new to this site.I read a number of your discussion concerns and I'm in much the same boat., I looking to make income over the internet and I've shied away in the past because of the scams you hear about and I can't afford to lose money, or throw it away on people who know their products will never make anyone money but the person selling the plan. I was recently drawn to a website, linked here, by a woman named Rachel Ryan (a stay at home mom) whose "system" "The Stay At Home System" sounded great, but I'm too skeptical to risk buying her package for $79,95. The other system on the website was from John Allen, founder of "Make Money website and the "Work @ home millionaire." I felt "rushed with Rachael Ryan's pleas to "buy it now!" and that she and her boyfried are only accepting 500 members with only 70 something members spots left.It all seemed a little dishonest and contrived. However, since I have no previous experience with online work, I'm very leery of it all. I found LiveOps on John Tesh's website along with several others. I trust John Tesh, but I'm not sure what to think about these companies. Can someone give me sound advice on any ethical company that they've done business with, that is not going to require an investment up front. LiveOps said if they accept you as a member, they want $50.00 (non refundable) to process a credit check and a background report. I need information before I commit to anything which I might be sorry for later.

Thanks so much for any information you can give.

Hi, Terri! I am new to this, of course, and I was wondering how long it took you from the time you completed your info and voice audition to the time you were offered to join LO? I think I am getting the same feedback, about 2-4 weeks. Did you buy a headset? How many actual hours do you work a day? I am full of questions. Please help!

I have worked for Liveops for almost 2 years..I love it! I have always gotten paid!!! on time... Liveops is the only company I have found that is not a scam. You are dealing with peoples credit cards..therefore u must pass a background check...makes sense. Live ops is legit and u can work when u want!! Good luck with whatever u decide to do

Hi Belinda,
Can you give me any information on how long and what the next steps are when applying for liveops? I've done the full online app how long after that?
Any info would be appreciated

Hello Belinda, I would love the opportunity to chat w/you. I'm brand new and understand that you are a "veteran", any info would be greatly appreciated:
I have just completed the "checklist" and understand (by reading other posts) that it takes 2-4 weeks. Are you able to work as much as possible? Is the training extensive and leave you feeling that you are ready and capable of taking calls? any input would be greatly appreciated.
