Hello All, I am relatively new here and I was accepted by West and for a project, but didn't complete the training in time. Will I ever get the chance again? I'm with Live Ops and Cloud 10 but have yet to hear from them. I tried LiveOps with a different email...didn't work :-(. Cloud 10 kept canceling my interview... so I'm hopeful that I'll get something from one of them again.

This seems to be a really great forum work at home workers or wanna be at home workers. :-)

Hello all,
I have been laid off from my job of twenty three years, for three months, I am currently working retail and would like to add some additional income to that. I thought I could find something to do at home so I'm trying this. Also a customer that came into make a purchase told me about liveops, so I thought I'd try it to see what would happen.

Hi Ynina:

Sorry about your current position of being laid off. That really stinks. Have you ever thought of writing as a part-time gig? If I knew more about you and the work that you did, maybe I can help you start a new career in writing? If you're interested just let me know.

I began writing full-time less than two years ago and never looked back. And just so you're aware, I never went to college and don't have any type of degree in anything. I just love to write and thought I'd try my hand at it. Today I'm working with various clients and getting paid on a regular basis. Let me know your thoughts.

BTW: The advice I provide is free of charge. Times are hard and we all need all the help we can get.

Hi Judith,
No, I never thought of writing, can you give me an idea as to what it is you're talking about? It just might be something I'd be interested in doing.

Hi Judith,

I am very new to Workspace and I saw your May 27 response to another member in which you suggested writing as a part-time gig.

I was laid off several months ago, and had thought about writing on a PT basis. How did you get started? In general, I believe it is good to have several sources of income! Thanks in advance and look forward to hearing from you....Ray

I am a divorced mother of two teenagers, with one in college and the other living nearby with his dad.
I stay busy between my scoping (editing for court reporters), teaching, developing curriculum and enjoying daily walks, gardening, cooking and reading in my spare time.
I love the work that I do and have been blessed with the gift of teaching and creativity. I’m always trying to figure out where my next adventure is going to lead.
I still live in my ex’s hometown but hope to be able to move within a year or so. I have a few ideas of where to move but will see as I get closer to that time. Since I work from home, I can really move anywhere where there is Internet connection.
Feel free to check out my Web site at www.joyfulscoping.com to learn more about me and the kind of work that I do.
