The Home Business Network

I'm seriously thinking about Arise as an income opportunity, and can use all the input anyone has to offer. I've done some reading here, and everything so far looks pretty positive.

One thing that concerns me is I think I read they don't allow you to have games on your computer, do they check your computers software? I like my to relax with my games, so I really don't want to have to remove them, or the pop up blockers that come in handy when I'm browsing.

Hello Ann,

I have just started with Arise but I think I can address your questions. The restriction is not games as a whole because all operating systems come with a few games. There are system requirements for the computer you use for your business. If you read further in the requirements you will even find the suggestion of having a door to the room you use as an office that you can lock.

But back to the computer. The focus is client privacy and the games that are internet interactive will be the guideline for which ones are unacceptable. Yes they do check your computer at the time you access their systems and you will not be able to connect if there is any of these violations. I think the best way to look at it is if you are serious about having a home business, all of the equipment used for buisness should be seperate from private use. At this time I am trying to decide whether to get an extra cpu and kvm switch that I can get new for less than 300 dollars which will allow me to have 2 computers that I can switch from personal to business using the same keyboard, mouse and monitor or get one of those laptops with decent power and features for as low as 400 dollars. But for now, to browse the net and anything else that does not require installing an internet interactive program is not a problem. You just engage the popup blocker when you surf.

I see you posted your question on Halloween so you have probably 2 months before you will need to have everything in place. The 2 months is getting the Arise certification completed and then getting a client opportunity that you will have to successfully certify in. I'll give you a heads up with the client opportunity situation. Once you finish the Arise certification, start watching nightly between 9 and 10 eastern time for the opportunities to post and act quickly because the they can fill up in minutes especially if it is a company whose name you recognize. Good luck!
