I am looking for a job from home where they pay you to work for them. I do not want to pay to work. If you know of any please email me back. I have worked for west for the FCC skill but it only lasted 3 days and have not heard anything else. I have applied for everything it seems with no luck. I have worked in an office for 11 years as a A/R specialist. I do billing for PI, MC, and Md.
Thank you

Hi Everyone. I just joined this group tonight. I've been working at Arise for my client, (think crusing), for almost a year and loving it! The only thing that is really new for me is figuring out taxes. I usually do ours anyway, but, this year will be my first with an LLC.

To Mommy07: From what I've read, the requirements for keeping up with an LLC vary by state. I'm confident that I've read up on everything I need to do. I have an LLC with my sister in MD. All that is required there is an annual report. She already got the paperwork in the mail. It is due around the time taxes are due.

It can be a hassle to get incorporated. A few years ago I went to a Women's seminar and attended a class on Women in Business and incorporation. The speaker, who was an accountant, gave examples of how much tax a self-employed person would pay with incorporation and without. While I've lost my notes and can't remember the exact examples, I know that you pay less when you are incorporated. I was working LO and West at the time and decided I would do it so I would be ready for Willow/Arise whenever I decided to join. I didn't do it right away like I should have. I did my own papers last year when I got started with Arise.

I really do love my client and Arise. It is the single best WAH decision I've ever made!

Has anyone worked with Arise long enough to know anything about your responsability that I don't think a lot of people think about when Arise asks you to get an LLC. I don't know much about an LLC or anything, but my aunt who owns her own business was explaining to me that unless you plan on making over a hundred grand a year then you should't get one or you should at least talk to an accountant about it because there a lot of things that you have to do, and keep up with that people don't know.

Sure, I did my own and I came out a whole lot cheaper and it was really easy. Why don't you shoot me an email and I will tell you about it: gtucker4910@yahoo.com.

Well I have already spend so much on Arise I would like to see it through. Hopefully I will eventually make some money. I just finished my ACP101, and I am so confused on this Inc. LLC thing. Maybe u can help and guide me in the right direction.

Hi Mommy07,

Yes, it is costly, I have not come across another company that requires the fees Arise charges. So far, my experience has not been that bad, I joined Arise in December and finished everything (i.e. Inc., and completing the ACP 101) last month and luckily, I just picked up my first client (AAA). Like you, I had to downgrade to XP. From what I see, it is an investment that you have to decide if you are willing to and/or can make, from what I have read, people are having different experiences with Arise. Have you tried looking into any other companies, there are alot that do no charge any fees (maybe a small fee for a background check)?

I just finished and passed my ACP101 class. They sent me an e-mail saying

Congratulations! You have successfully complete ACP101. You are now certified as an Arise Certified Professional.
You may now continue in the path to becoming an employee of a pre-existing Virtual Services Corporation (VSC) or an employee of your own VSC.
Arise will only subcontract with INCORPORATED entities. Arise will not contract with sole proprietors for client contact activities. An active corporation will have a valid Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN) that is submitted to Arise when you enter your corporation's information.
Arise is not able to assist you with your incorporation process. However, the resources below are available to help you find out what incorporating is all about and what method is right for you.

All this is SOO confusing and I am SURE it will cost more money. Can anyone tell me is all this money REALLY worth it? I mean I have already spent $100.00 to DOWNGRADE from vista to XP. $99.00 for the ACP101 class, and $26.00 for the background check. Then I hear you have to pay for training for clients training. I don't have any money. I am having to charge all of this extra money on my credit cards. Right now I have no source of income, so is this REALLY worth it?
