I have interviewed with Convergys and I am waiting for a training class to open up. I initially applied in Feb 2009 then got an email to reapply in April or May. I had been working on oDesk and totally forgot about my application with Convergys when I recieved an email from a recruiter. Yea! The interview process went really smooth (in June). I called at about 2 weeks ago and was told that I did well on my interview and I was on the list. I can't say I haven't had my share of,"how much longer could it possibly take," moments. I have a full time job that keeps my mind off of it. I have to say, I really want to make a transition soon. I have just looked at the process as something one has to do to get the benefit of working from home with a great company. Hopefully soon! Good Luck!

I've applied with this company as well as many others. Do they ever hire is my question? How soon because I am tired of waiting? Anyone know of any great work at home jobs that don't do credit checks? Please no Business opts.

I started training with Convergys back in April for a Direct Tv program, but had to be dropped from training after I missed 2 days. I delivered my baby earlier than I expected. So, I was told I would have to join another training session in a month. However, when I followed up with them, still no training. I've been contacting a recruiter at every time she suggests that I call her back. But still nothing. I was kinda bummed because it seemed like something I would enjoy. Now she said to check back at the end of summer. Meanwhile, I'm in the hiring process with Alpine Access. Anyone work for them? If so, how do u like it? We'll see how it goes. If they accept me I will just stick with them as they require a one year full time commitment.

the hours you work would depend on the job that you are working on but my understanding is mostly aftrn-evening .

Wow its been kinda quiet around here. Everyone must be enjoying their summer. I had an interview with Convergys 2 weeks ago. They stated that they don't have a training class date before I started my interview. I had originally applied with them in 02.2009. So I had almost forgotten about it. But was excited once I received the call. I plan on phoning by mid week if I haven't gotten any feedback. Anyone have info on how long it typically takes for the company to get a training class together?

I keep getting a login failed when I try to log on to check my application status or reapply. I have heard nothing from them since I purchased a new Dell computer in an effort to go to work for Convergys. That was over two months ago. Are they for real or a scam?
