I've slacked off on working graveyard lately. I miss my great co-workers and the customers who aren't so cranky and rushed for time. I think I'll be making the move back to late night hours.

what time is it?? what day is it?? have i eaten yet?? these are all GYSW's have said at one time or another. we ask these questions but honestly it does not matter because we would not change the hours we work for the world. the comment Gritty left is rite on the money! here is my questions for everyone in between calls what do you do?? do you watch tv, excercise, clean, watch a movie, or play on your computer??

My husband has worked the graveyard shift for 8 years so doing my weekend warrior thing on that shift was great. Now he has switched to the day shift but I advised him that I am going fulltime liveops and I was going to stay on the graveyard shift. My household is too noisy during the day. I also like the clientel better at night and i personally think that the money is better.

I absolutely love this shift. I have been doing it for so long now that my body won't let me adjust to anything else. I work 11pm to 11am ct and around about 5ish is when it slows down enough for me to get a power nap before the next call comes in. Once I get that nap in, it lets me slip into second gear and I am ok until 11am. I don't take breaks because I try to beat the clock by getting the calls in that I need to make my daily goal and for me thats fine, I love it and I work 7 days a week, only day I take off is when we have 31 days in a month and I took one off already this month so no more.

I need to come back to working overnites but I have been trying so hard to go to sleep at a decent hour. Plus I do have another gig working almost 30 hours a week evenings and weekends as employee.

I like the 9pm through 6am shift and then sleep during the day while hubby is at work and my son is at school. The house is nice and quiet so I get a solid sleep, waking up well rested and ready to play with my son for the afternoon. I also find that I make more money working this shift, sell more affinities and people are generally nicer. Of course there are always those few that make you want to hang up your headset but the majority make up for the few.

hey nightowls, owlettes, and of course, to the wolf!!!

my favorite hours to work are between 12 am and 4am, the callers are laid back and pros at the calls, mostly they know the drill, love it, and are professional callers, they call to buy, they do it well, then back to the tv set to search for another interesting infomercial. i love them. i have recently rearranged my schedule to work between (but not straight thru i am not wondergrandma) the hours of 4pm and 4 am. my favorite thing about that is, when i wake up, half my day is already thru....even when i take a ''day off" i have some kind of invoice to submit...i love the follow the money, and the money for me, is in that shift...mostly from about ten pm to about whenever i fall face first into the keyboard and commence to snore and drool on my keys... makes them a little sluggish the next day but hey!!! it works for me...hard on the keyboards though....
