So I've committed $230 to the Liveops opportunity. That is a lot of money so I hope it pans out. Is anyone currently on the EDS account? Do you get a lot of calls? That is a big concern since its only pay while on calls. I really couldn't afford the cost, but I've heard I should make it back quick...I hope so as it was bill and grocery money.

Kelly - Yes, I'm sad to say I have loads of call center experience mostly in the travel industry where I currently work full time for a client at their office building. So you're probably on the right track there.

Bryan - did you have call center experience? I was wondering if they offered EDS to people that have done this type of work before. I have a lot of work experience but not call center. Just a thought! Good Luck!!

I just finished my 30 calls last night. It went pretty well as far as not having to wait much for calls to come in. But today, for the first time, I was on 10-15 mins with no calls so I guess it's hit or miss. Also, we're only certified at first for a few things where later we will be able to take calls for more products. I guess we'll have to feel out the times of day and days of the week that are busier for calls.

Hi Kelly! EDS, in LiveOps, is a single account and that would be the only one that you would work on. I don't know how they offer that but it was offered to me and since they work with clients that require more checks than Direct Response they cost more. I want to say they are an IT resources company and some of their clients are parts of the government and some banks.

Hi Bryan! What exactly is EDS? I just started with Liveops about a week ago and am doing Direct Response. I don't remember even seeing a choice. I paid $50 for my background check also. Is EDS better? TIA

Thanks for the information on this page on phones and headsets. I will be shipping my material off to LiveOps tomorrow to get myself started. I'll purchase my headset and phone on Friday with the phone being installed on Saturday. I was offered EDS but declined because I wasn't sure if my credit would hold up to their scrutiny and I refused to part with $175 if I had doubts in my head. They will put me on Direct Response and maybe in time I can then go to EDS but maybe not. Again, thanks for the phone/headset information and I hope to be joining the LiveOps group soon.

The one I bought at Best Buy is corded and just plugs into the phone so make sure the phone has a headset jack. It does not need to go into the computer as far as I know.
