Why a credit check with LiveOps?

I have bad credit and i got hired by live ops.

'Bad Credit' alone will not disqualify you from becoming an independent agent. But, according to LO, agents will not qualify if they have: more than $10k past due (in collections), a couple of bankruptcies, felonies and misdemeanors. I didn't want to quote them word for word so I would recommend visiting the Agent FAQs at LiveOps. Hope that helps!

LO requires credit checks because you are handling very sensitive information including full names, addresses, and credit card numbers with pretty much every call that you take. Depending what is on your credit, if there are delinquencies, and charge offs etc. you will probably not be able to qualify. There are other companies out there that do not require credit checks.

I don't think that it is fair that they do credit checks when you are trying to find a job. I think the only thing that matters is if you have done something criminal wise. Because if you did not have a job for a while your credit could get messed up but if you are looking for a job, and you get a job you can pay off all of the bills that you were behind on even if they are charge offs or delinquencies.
