It is time to start those New Years Resolutions! If getting healthy was one of them please stop by and join the Raw Food is Good Medicine Group for loads of info. One of the secrets to obtaining optimum health is have a great support system.

Kiana a real quick filling entree would be a bowl of your favorite vegetables for example chopped tomatoes, broccoli, mushroom and onion in a bowl. Make a dressing with juice of one lemon, a little agave (a low gloucomic sweetner), olive oil, garlic powder, and sea salt to taste. You can just add the dressing ingrediants one by one on top of the vegetables and mix.

Thanks for the recipe and video. I am trying to conform to an all raw food lifestyle.I know that is the best thing for me and my girls health. (asthma, allergies, anxiety)
Do you have any suggestions / advice for someone on a budget who cannot afford dehydrators and things yet?

Recipe for today...Alissa Cohen's Broccoli Soup
3 cups of water
1 cup of almonds
1 tsp of raw agave or honey
2 cups of broccoli
1 avocado
1 clove of garlic
1 Tbs olive oil
1 tsp onion
1 1/2 tsp sea salt
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/8 teaspoon black pepper

blend water, almonds and agave or honey in a blender or vitamix until smooth. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until creamy. Add more sea salt if needed.
