What makes for a great source of extra income?

When assessing how you can generate multiple income streams, consider these factors:

Flexible. The ideal source of extra income will allow you to call the shots when it comes to your time. Particularly if you have a full-time job, the last thing you want is being tied down to working a set number of hours each week at a second job.
Scalable. Look for income sources that have at least the possibility of generating substantial amounts of income.
Sustainable. The ideal extra income source will continue to generate cash even when you're not working at it. The idea is to build something that can eventually function without you. Also known as "residual income".
Enjoyable. Generating additional sources of income is a lot of work, so you might as well enjoy what you're doing.
Inexpensive. Income-generating ideas should not require a massive investment.

Hi there! My name is Gen & I am the mom of a 3 yr old little boy and a 1 yr old little girl. I have been married to my husband for over 5 years. We needed a 2nd income, but with soaring gas prices and expensive daycare, we knew that me getting an outside job wasn't possible. I am looking for a job from home where they pay you to work for them. I do not want to pay to work. If you know of any please email me back. I have worked for west for the FCC skill but it only lasted 3 days and have not heard anything else. I have applied for everything it seems with no luck. I have worked in an office for 11 years as a A/R specialist. I do billing for PI, MC, and Md.

Do you see yourself working from home? I know that for so long I dreamed of being able to be home with my kids. I am a mom of a 3 yr old little boy and a 9 month old baby girl. I was tired of missing my kids growing up. I wanted to be my own boss and set my own schedule for my life. But most of all I was looking for something I believed in and I found it!I am proud of who I work with and I get to stay home with my kids. We are THE BEST caregivers for our children!
