Hi!
I just found this group and thought .....what a great idea!. I never knew there were people out there like myself who can't get a job because they can't do the job. I have Paraesthiasis in my right wrist..it is a rare form of nerve blockage that causes severe burning pain 24/7 and excruciating when bumped or grasped. I found WAH last year and after several months they finally contacted me. Now I can work at home and when I hurt real bad (rainy weather) I can take off. (By the way, the picture is 30 years old!) Glad to be here among friends.

Hi everyone. My name is Tammy and I am a divorced mother of 2. I have had Fibromyalgia going on 6 years now. It is a day by day disease that takes alot away from a person. I also have alot of health problems including P.A.D., COPD/Emphysema, Chronic Kidney Failure, Depression, Insomnia, High Blood Pressure, H-pylori and I could go on. I haven't worked a job outside my home in almost 3 years now, I have been trying to get on disablilty but have been turned down twice now. I am wanting to find a work at home job to help me with my finanical situation (which is pretty bad right now). If anyone has any advice for me it would be greatly welcomed. I hope everyone has a great St. Patty's Day and God Bless.

Do you see yourself working from home? I know that for so long I dreamed of being able to be home with my kids. I am a mom of a 3 yr old little boy and a 9 month old baby girl. I was tired of missing my kids growing up. I wanted to be my own boss and set my own schedule for my life. But most of all I was looking for something I believed in and I found it!I am proud of who I work with and I get to stay home with my kids. We are THE BEST caregivers for our children! Let me share with you the opportunity that has changed our lives:

Hi,

I just joined WAH and am still learning the ropes. I am having trouble finding out how one goes about getting an assignment, job or whatever term is used here. I too have fibromyalgia. I also have Multiple Sclerosis, COPD, degenerative disc disease, degenerative joint disease, Severe Sleep Apnea, Narcolepsy, and an ever growing list of other ailments. I fell in September of 2006, 30 minutes later my oldest son rolled his car, was air lifted by helicopter to a trauma center and we both spent 6 weeks in separate hospitals. As a result, my husband got him a new "friend" and walked out on me and two injured children six months later. We just recently got divorced after a long 18 month period of delays. Yes, stress does increase pain!!! I do not receive anything from him monetarily and am living on disability. Sooo... I desparately need to find something to generate enough of an income so that I can buy groceries. For the moment my church and friends help out. My husband makes over $85000 a year, cleaned out the bank account, cashed in $120000 worth of stocks/bonds and left me blowing in the wind. If there is anyone with similar experiences, I would love to hear from you. I cannot get my attorney to return my calls or respond to any correspondence and do not know what to do so I would welcome anyone's experiences or advice. I am hoping to use WAH as a platform for residual income as I cannot work many hours at a shot. My problem is I cannot find out how to apply for any positions. Apparently I am missing the boat somehow. If anyone can help this feeble minded female it would be greatly appreciated. Blessed Be. Vickie

Howdy! I'm new to this group and don't see any new posts. Just curious as to how many hours, on average, do you work from home with your medical issues? Thanks! Take Care & God Bless, Donna

Here's my continued thought on this:

If pain increases/returns/flares etc....during a menstrual cycle... then can it be somehow hormone related??? Then what about menapause? ...any thoughts?

pre-"sorry" fellas ;-)

Fibro-Ladies: I've noticed that when 'Aunt Flow' comes to visit, the pain increases.

You can view my blog on my workspace... feel free to comment there too. Some on my friend's list aren't in our group here :-)

otherwise the cymbalta 60mg has been working ...going on 3 mths now :-)

Next step... how to get that 1 week to be pain free too!!!
