About me

I LOVE to travel, garden & cook. I would love to have more time for piano, golf, art, maybe pottery. I spent many years in the computer industry and now my right brain yearns to be fed :-)

The loves of my life are my 4 Papillons. I work with a Papillon rescue group and, of course, all of my girls are rescues. Pippin was surrendered by her owner who could no longer care for her. I think her name should be Chiquita because she seems to be full of Mexican jumping beans and because she's totally bananas :-) Gypsy was a stray. I rescued her from a shelter in south Georgia. She's a sweet girl and the matriarch of the clan. Princess was rescued from a puppy mill. An unspeakable horror. She melts my heart. And Bella....precious Bella. She was run over by a car in TN. Her hind quarters and pelvic area were smashed. After 6 hours of surgery, she was put back together with tiny little plates and pins, then I drove to TN and got her. After months of healing and physical therapy, she's almost normal and one of the sweetest dogs you will ever encounter. With all she's been through, she is the most loving dog I have ever met. She will shower you with kisses and cuddle with you for hours....amazing girl! That's my crew, so far.....
