Are there any "legitimate" data entry work at home positions out there. I am inquiring for my 19 yr old college student.

About me: I am a business owner with my husband, Kirk. We own and operate a local automotive repair facility and I manage the accounting / bookkeeping end of the business. My husband is the ASE Master Tech w/state inspectors license. We have a college age daughter, Samantha and a 19 month old son, Landon. Quite the stretch there, but it was really worth it. I aspire to work from home and our business does not keep me as busy as I would like, so I am looking to find work that I can do from home to occupy my time and supplement our income.

Goals: To be able to support my family comfortably and live a very healthy life.

Home business experience (e.g., LiveOps, Alpine, eLance): I accepted the LiveOps $175 offer and actively started working for them on 10/04/08 and now I have two clients. The client that cost $175 is rapidly expanding into something a lot bigger than it was originally. It's very exciting. I have created a company of my own and have been contracted by Arise as a VSC (Virtual Service Corporation). I started working for a client under Arise on 11/26/08. So far, it's going very well. I also work with West At Home doing DR (Direct Response). I have a little trouble getting hours with West because they have no set time for a schedule release. I have just been accepted with ACD Direct to train for them. I begin training on 11/29/08.

I worked for LO before but got really sick and was not able to log in due to lack of voice for 2 months. My contract was terminated. I have just re-applied and I do remember when it was super busy back when I worked for LO and we did need lots of agents to sign up for blocks to get the calls done. I was hired failry quickly then too. I re-applied on Monday and I was wondering if it is still very busy so i can get an idea of how long i may wait for a responce. I worked DR and would LOVE to work DR again. :) Thanks in advance for your help. :)

Also, I just got an email from West at Home to fill out the employee paperwork even though I haven't spoken to anyone yet (it says on their website that an interview would take place then if they are interested they would have you fill out paperwork) so I'm considering them. I also am waiting for a project from Cloud 10 - don't know much about them though. Oh, and I have a phone interview with Teletech next week but they have set hours so I don't think that'll work for me as I have a little one and my husband's schedule is crazy. I am doing my 30 calls for Liveops right now (DR) and am having a bit of a hard time with the upsells - not so much when they have to do with the product but when they go off into magazines, etc. it's rough. Would like to get into a client thing you mentioned - is there less upselling? Sorry for the rambling!!! LOL

Each time I log on, the message says they are all gone right now and I will get an e-mail when some other times open. I hear ACD is a great company to work for so I am excited. I also like that the schedule is 24/7, having a 5 month old I need that type of flexibility.
