If you're looking for transcription jobs right now, I'd recommend starting at Accutran. They do quarterly financial reports transcriptions. Their test is online and you can take it at any time. If you want to work this month, I'd suggest that you take it immediately since the January quarterly reports are imminent.

You might want to join Sohojobs. They have a subscription fee, but they provide a lot of good employment leads. Craigslist is also pretty good.
