He modeled for the last 6 or 7 years, and mostly for hip hop publications, but now he's over their in Europe, rocking their world. If you've ever looked at any hip hop mags, like The Source, Vibe, etc. You've probably seen him. He was also one of my models for a short while before I closed the doors. He did a lot for P.Diddy also. He had a huge ad(board) in times square, and at Macy's for Sean John.

I had more makeup artists than models, and the long distance of working with their schedules became a strain, when I was unable to book a few of them for jobs because of their schedules. I worked with freelancers, so they also procured work for themselves. I still have all of my files, and I was looking through them the other day. Who knows, I'm doing so much now, but I love the beauty and fashion world, and my Mya, although she has the "tom boy' in her (because of her brothers), she loves to get dressed up, do makeup, hair, and walk the runway :-). I will keep you posted. You seem to be doing a great job . You took a leap of faith, and she's had JOBS!!!! Kudos to you! I still have people sending me pics sometimes, because I was in a national publication. LOL. But The Beautiful Flower Agency, has closed it's "doors" until further notice.

About me: Hello. My name is Frances Carter. I work from home as a teleservice agent. I am my own boss and make my own schedule. I have a daughter, Precious, who is six. She is in going into 1st grade and she loves school. I also live with my boyfriend, Elihue. We have known each other since high school. My boyfriend, my daughter and I recently moved from Louisiana to New Jersey.
I was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I have an older brother, Jake Carter, who lives in Seattle, Washington. My boyfriend was in the Air Force for four years and we got back in touch with each other about two years ago. He moved back home and we started dating again. We got very serious; it is like God put us back in each others lives.

Then, April of last year, I entered my daughter into Model Search America. My daughter, my boyfriend and I took the trip to Las Vegas. She ended up getting callbacks from four different agencies. We were so excited until we realized none were in our state. Three agencies were in New York City and one was in Las Vegas. So, we had a huge decision. We talked with all four agencies and I liked one in particular. It was an agency in New York City. The owner was very down to earth and her agency specialized in children. She gave us the option of just going to NYC for the summer because that is the busiest time of the year. But, we did not have anyone to stay with, so we would have to move for good. When I got home we talked things over with our family. I did research on the company and everything sounded awesome. Then, we decided to make the move to New Jersey. June of last year we moved from Louisiana all the way to New Jersey. Our families were very supportive. So we found an apartment, rented a Uhaul and off we went. It took us two days to get there, but we did it. We got back in touch with the agency and before long she started going to casting and got a few jobs. I was constantly bringing her to the city, and I didn't have the time to work outside of the home. So, I kept my job as a telemarketer, which I do from home. After a while my daughter started school and the castings slowed down.

I decided I needed something challenging and my boyfriend encouraged me to go back to school. A regular university would require transportation and daycare for my child. We only brought one car here, so it would be difficult to get to and from school. Then I would have to find and pay for childcare. I avoided both of these challenges by applying to Phoenix Online. My boyfriend, his mother and my mother have all attended Phoenix Online. I checked it out and decided to go for my Associates in Health Administration then, I got my Associates and now I am going for my Bachelors in Human Service Management. This is perfect for me because I can stay home with my daughter. Now I can do my job and school from home. I just completed my associates degree and plan to start my bachelors next month.
