- About me
- I'm Julie, an entrepreneur for the majority of my career. I started a small business consulting firm, Brook Forest Resources, a few years ago which evolved into a partnership with my husband and was been rebranded JC Media Production, LLC. Joe now runs JC Media and I have moved into a corporate position as Chief Networking Officer for MainStreetChamber. MainStreetChamber is a community-focused, membership-based, business networking organization. We serve as a primary catalyst for accelerated growth and profitability among small and home-based businesses.
To accomplish this, we bring together fast track resources for member Connection and Opportunity.
We orchestrate Connections through traditional networking events for face-to-face interaction and extend those connections through MainStreetChamber's proprietary, business/social networking websites. This extended combination of live events and member networking sites facilitate continuous connections and offers opportunities to showcase member capabilities while developing new member to member business.
Our approach to Connection accelerates the creation of relationships that do not require tapping into long established networks or category-exclusive leads groups. Our techniques maximize our member's time and their networking effectiveness.
We also offer our members both money-saving and revenue-generating Opportunities.
Through national partner relationships we are able to offer our members discounts on business related goods and services that are typically only available to large businesses and/or groups.
Through our international partner relationships and our affiliation with the GlobalChamber, we also offer our members a forum to preview complementary business ventures which offer additional sources of income, fuel diversified financial growth, and can expand their businesses both nationally and internationally.
MainStreetChamber is focused on engaging our members, accelerating their typical start up curve and advancing the growth and profitability of their businesses.

- As a small child I lived in Northern CA, but my teen years were in NC and college years in Hawaii.
- Hobbies
- I have 2 great horses who I love to spend my free time with. They are wonderful trail companions, both are B&W Paints (one has blue eyes).
I also enjoy designing jewelry with unusual Art Glass and occasionally participating in craft fairs.
- Goals
- To continue to work from a home office so that I have control over my time and enjoy a comfortable lifestyle while giving my daughter the best educational opportunities I can and supporting her various activities.

What I do when I'm working from home
If you have the discipline, the drive and the optimism to work from home ~ you will feel empowered to do anything! I can't imagine going back into a corporate office after the years of freedom I have enjoyed being in control of my professional life.
I'm a multi-tasker. I bounce between social networks, face2face networking groups and client meetings. I like the freedom that comes with not having someone looking over your shoulder. I tend to be much more productive!
