Wondering if anyone knows about the tax thing. Should I be paying taxes quarterly - even if I'm only making minimal $$?? Or can I just wait till we do our taxes and have it deducted from our refund ...
You need to have made over $50 during the pay period and then click on invoices and click submit invoice - each day you work you need to do that and all invoices that are submitted during a pay period will be paid the following pay date. Sorry - h...
Kyle/Emma - I don't work on OB (I'm on DR) but from what I hear they can be lenient about the 30 calls deadline (on DR) and I would think with CV being low they would be especially. So my advice would be to check on that so you don't have to worry...

- Yeah, I know that's true. I've worked in a call center for the past 3 years and that seems to be the trend... well unless there is a large mail drop or extra advertising or something. Thanks for all of your help!

- Hi. I saw a comment you made about you getting your background/credit check back and everything was good on it. I just got the results back from mine to and at the top it said I passed. It's been 8 days since I got that email though. How long does it take for them to tell you your agent login and everything? And does a passed background check mean that you have the job?

It was my secondary plan, but since LiveOps is dead for me right now, I'll be doin' the ChaCha on the side until LiveOps opens up. I'm fortunate in that this stuff is all to pay off debt, my day job pays the mortgage and other bills.

Nora said… - Thanks, Kelly, for your info. I think I will hang in there for awhile. I'm trying to pursue some other things at the same time. Today, I committed for 12:10 and received one phone call. I sat for 10 minutes and then one came in. It was a fairly long call. Sometimes I sit for hours with nothing, so for me to get a call after 10 minutes was a miracle. I had to leave to go to the doctor's today and to babysit after, so I couldn't commit for any other times. Maybe that is a sign that things are going to get better. Hopefully, that is the case. I'll let you know. Anyway, thanks for your help. Hopefully, things will improve for both of us and we will be able to make enough money.

Thanks for your reply. When you first started, did you just take the required 30 calls or did you take more than that before certification? I've been noticing in the vcc general chat that sometimes an agent will have a higher agent # than mine, but they will be asking questions of the af about calls they are getting. I'll just be sitting there with no calls and they will be getting calls. It makes me wonder what they did differently than me, when I can tell they are even newer than I am. I'm thinking that maybe they took more than the 30 calls when they were certified and maybe the computer put them into a better ranking.

I noticed you work with Alpine. How has that gone for you? Do you have a set schedule with them, and are you happy with them? I, too, am having problems getting calls with LO. I noticed you remarked about sitting there with just 1 call in an hour. I've sat there for 1 to 2 hours with no calls, so don't feel badly. The only reason that I had anything today after 2 hours on the phone was because two people called the wrong number. I wonder how long it will be before things get better with the call volume. When I advised my AF, she said I should try to get on between the hrs. of 12:00am & 6:00am. I have 100% commit percentage. I guess it is because I'm new that I don't get many calls. That early schedule she suggested doesn't work well with me, but perhaps one day, I will try it. Has the CV improved for you?
