For those who need to be reminded!

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed He was walking along the beach with the LORD. Across the sky flashed scenes from His life. For each scene He noticed two sets of footprints in the sand. One belonging to Him and the other to the LORD.… Continue

You are so welcome!!! Well deserved. I am so grateful to GOD for you!!! I find it a blessing when a can connect with someone via internet who's willing to help. I've had so called friends say things and they don't mean what they say. Lack integrity and honest, I value so much in any relationship.

Good morning Lenora,

Thanks for your kind words. One area I know about life: One cannot encourage others effectively unless he/she truly have been through the fire, and know first hand the goodness of God. How He is able to deliver and turn a situation around no matter what it looks like.

This past year since Feb '08 has been my trials. I must admit I did not handle the surmounting situation too well. However, God was still faithful and kept me with a sound mind when I should have lost it. He intervened right in the knick of time. I said Lord the heathens are making it. I serve you I know you won't leave me hi and dry. I had to learn to praise and thank God during this time because I did not have the words to pray. Sometimes I was so numb I couldn't cry when I wanted to. I could just say Lord have mercy on me. You are my strength and my song. No matter what, my life is still better with you than with the world. This too shall pass. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning light. Some of us think that joy comes the next day, but it could take days, months and even years.

This happened to one of the elders at my church. For six year he had pains and the doctors could not figure you what was causing the pain. He had been to the hospital over 50 times. During some of those times the doctors thought he would die from the pain, but he stayed faithful and praised God through the situation for six years. He came to church played the organ, sang and ministered to others through the pain. I remember on mother's day I wanted to talk to him about something I was struggling with and he told me he was in so much pain he was on the way to the hospital. What he did not know was his joy was about to be manifested. His doctor wasn't around so another doctor attended to him and made a suggestion about a procedure. He figured, what do I have to lose? Why not? And like they say the rest is history. This procedure figured out what was causing the pain and was able to eliminate the problem.

Six years my sisters and brothers six years!! How many of us would have given up when our bodies are riddled with pain? You could see the agony he was going through. But now he has a testimony. He is a walking blessing.

Many times we do not understand, and God does not want us to try to figure Him out anyway. We would get a brain tumor doing so. And we just simple would not figure Him out period. The Bible says we cannot understand the things of God. He just wants to us to trust Him. Walk by faith Then he can use our situation to bring Glory, honor and praise to His name. Remember, we are a walking testimony. Nowadays we cannot just say we are Christians. We have to walk the walk. Not just talk because people are watching us! I hurt when I see people claim to be Christians and engage in the same behavior as the world. We have to be set apart and be an example. Many people have had bad church or religious experiences and they are fed up with us so-called Christians. We have to learn to give thanks in all things because it is the will of God. Then they can see a difference in us and want to find Christ for themselves.

I pray everyone will have a spirit-filled day at Church tomorrow. Leaving with a renewed mind and determination to serve the Lord and be a blessing to others. Ask Him to bring people in our path who need Him. Remember our trials are there to make us strong; to make us lean on him instead of on our frail selves. Without Him we are nothing, and without Him we cannot and will not make it.

One of His working for the kingdom.

Hey,

Just wanted to say thanks for that message, it really is beautiful. I try not to let things get me down, but we are human and i guess thats why God made so many of us; so we can stand up and help other while still in turn helping ourself. But once again thank you.

Hope you're having a blessed day!
