About me
I'm a WAHM of 6 great kids and grandma of 7, but I'm NOT the typical rocking chair granny! I'm happily married to my husband and best friend, John. I’m the Employment Specialist (a volunteer position) for my church group, and have spent almost 3 years now helping others get their feet on the ground by helping them create resumes, interviewing skills and teaching them how to network to find jobs.

I love my work as a Reflexologist.Through my massage practice I began using Young Living Essential Oils whenever I did massage, and realized the power and energy that exists in each one. I am now studying how to use Young Living Essential Oils for emotional clearing and to help those facing terminal illness and those who are grieving to deal with what faces them in life.
Hometown
Our home is in western Lakewood, Colorado, a part of the city nestled against the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, where the things we love to do are right outside our door!
Hobbies
Hiking, biking, rafting, designing and sewing, trying new things, scary movies, reading action or mystery books, spending time with family and friends, playing with my grandkids.
Goals
My goals are to be the best person I can be in this life, help others achieve their goals, and to live a Christ-like lifestyle. I have learned that by truly helping others we can achieve what we want.

Essential Oils

In my practice as a Reflexologist, I use essential oils to help my clients improve their health and relieve stress. Over the last few years, I have seen for myself the power of the plants God plced here for our use, and am often in awe of their healing powers.

Feel free to message me for information about the oils and how they are used. I am NOT a doctor and I do NOT diagnose or profess to heal any medical condition, but I CAN tell you what other people are experiencing, and of my own experiences with essential oils.

In my life, with my health condition, I know that proper nutrition and essential oils are critical for my good health. What about yours?

Swine Flu

Without a doubt, the big news this fall is likely to be about the Swine Flu. Surely, everyone reading this has heard or read about this flu, and the resulting fear and fervor are likely to grow as we move into the flu season.

Below is a summary of a newletter submitted by Joy Linsley. Thanks, Joy for the valuable information!

For several months now, there have been predictions of a Pandemic. We also know that when there were deaths reported – for the first many I heard of – the deceased had o… Continue

One Crazy Summer

As most of you know, I went back to school last year to become a Naturopath. What an amazing journey I am on...one that will not only change MY life, but the lives of everyone I know! I just returned from Canada, where I was studying Essential Oil Therapies, and have done next to nothing else. It was a great way to spend the summer!

I learned so much about emotional clearing with essential oils, about ways we store life's traumas in our bodies, and how to clear those traumas. I also learned how… Continue

What Happens When You Make A Job Change

Recently a friend went in to work and realized that many in her company were being laid off. Trying not to panic, she decided to follow her heart, quit her job, and work toward goals that would help her instead of drag her down.

Watch this video and decide if you need a change in your life!

Colds and Flu...

It's the season...and not just to be jolly! Colds and flu are coming our way, and one of the best ways to fight them is proactively...don't wait until you start sneezing and coughing to do something!

You've been eating too much sugar since Halloween, then too much of everything since Thanksgiving! Parties and late nights through Christmas and New Years too! Your body is in the perfect place to become a breeding ground for inflammation...and illness!

You could wait until you are already ill, th… Continue

Nannette thank you so very much, please share that desk reference book with me. I'd love to have that. I love going to the spa having a reflexology session. I have often wanted to learn how to do it. Can't seem to find any training in my area for it. Since we are all under so much stress right now it's a nice way relax and do something really good for your body. I'm such a sponge when it comes to health and wellness. If you don't keep yourself going and healthy there is no one to do it for you. I want to learn so anything you are willing to share with me I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much, have a good night.

Nanette, Hi,
I thought that if a place asks for funds so you can start to work it was a scam.
I'm LDS too and for some reason forgot the church site!.
I will look at that www.get2work.me site too.
Today I'm focusing on getting my paperwork sorted and put away. Saturday, I will look over more sites.
My S.S. will come in soon and I hope I can have enough left to pay for the beginning of working.

Hi, Nannette,
My name is Jill Guilford, I'm new to this WorkSpace thing and I'm having problems finding work that doesn't require up-front investment. So far I've found surveys to do, but I have to invest in the products I'm surveying or a partner and my Social Security Income is very much below the poverty level.

I know and use reflexology. I have read about the essential oils too. They do sound very good for people.

I have fibromyalgia and coming out of a flare and it takes me out of life for awhile each year.

I have extensive experience in Office work, filing, data entry, research, typing up reports etc. I'm good with customer service and phone work.

Do you have any suggestions on what I could do?

Hello Nannette,
I have just begun working for LO and is enjoying it. It is different though being on the phone and in front of a desk. I am used to much more freedom. Add me a friend when you have time ...talk to you soon.
