- About me
- My name is Sabrina Rawls. I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. I started Volunteering in 2000 when I got a health scare and I realized that I had not done anything to give back to Society and I did not want to die without doing any good works on earth. I later found out that my health scare was misdiagnosed. I always had a struggle within for all the homeless children in the World. I started doing Fundraising Events for children in Shelters. I had already gone to Clark College and got a degree in Business Administration and had a career in the Food & Beverage Industry when I decided I wanted to get more knowledge on working and running a bar so I went to Bartending School. Then I decided that I wanted to start my own Catering Company planning events for children charities. With this in mind I realized that I needed to have the knowledge of Culinary so I went to Culinary School and then to Hotel Restaurant Management School. I now have a corporate catering delivery service and a retail site that sells Gourmet Goodies (gourmet2gogo.com) and net proceeds are donated to children charities. This has also created a great source of income to individuals who want to become Gourmet Gurus. I also manage a social network, called Social Butterflies. Social Butterflies come together socially to plan events that benefit children who live on the street and in shelters. It's fun and rewarding and my goal is to recruit Gourmet Gurus & Social Butterflies throughout the United States.
