I am new, too. My first call it shocked me and it rang twice and I picked it up and noone was there...then I didn't disposition properly and had a no web. Things are much better now and I am really getting the hang of it and am enjoying...

If you call them on the phone they are real helpful.
I am new, too. I have not had any problems with closing mid script. But I have had problems with the script not popping (I have Vista) so I have to close out completely and log back in.
I got a CE for my first 24 hours for having too many NoWebs....
The phone company came out and installed the second line. The phone has two plugs out the back that plug into the wall. I can unplug one line if I choose while I am working but if you are one line the other one doesn't ring - just flashes.

At this time I have one line and stripped all the features. I hate not having caller ID!!! I am going to call our phone company to see what the cost would be to have someone come out and add an additional line.
West is going good. I have finished all the training but when I went in to schedule hours for the project, there were no hours available. Sounds like there are more agents than hours so I am kinda bummed at the moment. If someone chooses to give up hours or needs to trade that looks like the only way I am going to get any worked hours at this time. We will see what happens.
I sent in my paperwork for LO, and going to do the $50 for background check today. Sounds like it takes a week or so to hear back on everything. If you hear any information about LO pass it my way and I will do the same for you.

I just joined workspace myself and I am in the process of filling out the paperwork for Live Ops. Being a virtual CSR is new to me and I am looking for friends that I can share my experiences, questions and hurdles with. I just completed CSR training for West at Home to start taking calls on Tuesday. Have you started with a client yet with Live Ops? If so how is it going? From reading different blogs here, I am finding that Live Ops has several levels of clients, and they choose who services them. Some are saying that their background checks are $175 where mine and others are $50. I guess it depends on the level of security, but not really sure. I am not very tech savvy so I am not sure the best way to set up the single analog phone line. Do you have more than 1 phone line at your home or did you have an addtional line installed? We have one phone which has several features on it and I hate to remove them. I believe it to be very costly to have the phone company come out and install an additional line. Any suggestions?
I am a sponge at this moment and trying to soak in as much information as possible so I look forward to any advice or tools you can send my way and vise-versa.
