- I have been married to my wonderful husband Deven for 18 years and Stepmom to Brandon 24 and Anjelica 20. Since the kids are grown and out of the house we have 2 more babies our dogs Ghana and her son Kumasi. Deven and I love to travel and "Detroit style Ballroom". I love spending time with my 7 sisters and my brother. I think I have the greatest mother-in-law in the world she is truly a beautiful person.
I wanted to start my own business for a very long time but I did not know what I wanted to do. I tried several business ideas but my heart was not in them. One day two of my Deven's friends were over and they were both in the same business. They were talking about a need that they both had and was unable to find it where we lived. So I took notes, research it, read about it and produced a quality product. I invited the friends back over and introduced them to my product. I gave them samples of it, they took it home and they tried my product and the next day they both called and wanted more.
When Deven and I went to go visit our family I took the product with me my sisters, brother, nephew and nieces all went crazy over the product. My then 76 year old father who never gets excited over anything got excited. He told me "you have something here".
The product was scented handmade bath soap with any fragrace you wear.
That was 5 years ago since then "Scent for You" has grown up.
We carry a full line of bath products branded "Scensual Scents" along with premium oils that you can wear or burn and oil warmers.
