- Sorry for the long reply. The name of the project is XM Sales and they pay $8/hr what we are doing is activating all customers who have inactive radios. It take some time to get use to cause today I finally did a full activation and the Sale part come in where we have to get our customers to sign up for a rollover package that is Quarterly, Yearly, Monthly. So I like it and I will be sticking with it as long as West lets me.

- I do like it the new project that they have me on Its XM sales and it is pay by the hr. I left HSN cause I did not understand how they calculated my pay. I did not know that you could work more than one project at a time with West.

- Its going ok, I took my first call on yesterday I think I messed up big time I think I got nervous. But today I will be practicing and doing some evening hrs. Until i get used to the screens and XM Sales yeah I like it But I guess with any job It take some getting use to

- With West I am on a project called XM Sales and the hrs of operation is Mon-Sat 7am-11pmcst, Sun 8am-10pm cst, I am completed with training and the min hrs is 10 and the max is up to 65hrs per wk. West pays 7.25hr for training and the training hrs are 20hrs or 10 calender days which ever come first, And its not hard the only thing you do is activate and set up new accts for sateillte radios. Now however you do not have to work those hrs listed above you set your hrs in 30mins increments and today they just raised the pay rate it starts at 8hr, now its between 9hr-10hr.

Kim H. said… - Hey shalaunda i just filled out a app on the web site i actullay had trouble with the website and didnt get to finish my app so i was very surprised to hear from them because it was half filled out! anyway there is alot i jobs i dont hear from the ones i do i cant work the hours it seems i also am looking outside the home i just need something that is not seasonal per say if your friend can watch your daughter thats great! I send so many resumes out weekly local and dont never hear back i will just keep my faith that something will come along i want to be able to help my husband with the bills hope to talk to ya soon, kim

- Hi shalaunda good to hear from ya im to start trainning for teletech on monday and hope it goes well i am not feeling the seasonal part and pray things go longer i am continueing to apply for other wah in the mean time did a interview at west and havent heard back yet. convergys emailed me yesterday about a 9.00 position and wanted me to pick work hrs from 2pm-2am 4 to 6 hrs but that wont work for me i know you wanted to work at night so maybe try them if you havent yet they are hiring for night work. hope all is well keep in touch,Kim

What will tomorrow bring?
The news reports state that we are in a very tough economic state and that the unemployment rate is one of the highest we have seen. What does this say about our future? To me it says that job security isn't what it used to be, unfortunately.
