- Hello Www People (world wide web) and Welcome my name is Wendy and I live in sunny Fort Lauderdale Florida. I have lived here for most of my life and I enjoy the sunny skies and hating the times we do have a hurricane Thank God we have not had one in a while .. . Well I would think you would want to know more about me of course and here we go.... I am a creative person with an entrepreneurial spirit. Love to joke and laugh . Ever since I can remember I was hard working at my craft. When I was in elementary I love drawing and being creative with my When I was 9 I started my first business making yarn dolls and key chains so I can sell them to the neighbors. Let’s just say I was making money for ice cream and candy lol. I knew even then I would love to make money in what I would love to do and for me that is being creative and coming up with ideas that is clever. I then got my first job when I turned 15 and that was a harsh reality of course because I was working at a place that I did not enjoy and that was Macdonald’s. Like all teenagers I needed the money for school clothes so I can look cute for those crushes I had ;) I graduated from high school went to college for a year then dropped out because I did not really like school and I was young and wanted to have fun... So then I partied a lot drinking and smoking not taking care of me. I also struggled with my weight. I was never the right size for what I was suppose to be . During that time of parting .I found a guy that I thought was love at first sight during that time. I then got married to him at 22 because I felt like I had to start life “white picket fence, dog, and 2 kids “Yeah that is what I thought lol . But that did not happen because 5 years later I was divorced. I look back know and it was for selfish reasons not really doing it for love but doing it because I thought that is when life will start for the better for me but I come to find that it was just a lot of lessens learned .. Life after the divorce I was now 27 years and I was driven to pursue all my goals in life. I joined a church to try to be more “spiritual” (plus I felt guilty of all the bad I did) and learn to love because I felt like I did not know how to love. Being that I had a lot more responsibilities I then started working harder because it was just me to take on the bills and getting stressed out because I was working 3 jobs working Medical Billing (boring but paid the bills) working at a grocery store part time (extra money but I just goof off lol) and plus working for the church. As the years go by going though many jobs I hated and jobs that I loved but hated the management. I am now at a point where I was just plan old burned out of thinking of just being engaged in who is Wendy really is it really all about the husseling and trying to find that perfect person to have a relationship with and having that nice home and car .. Life can not but just only about that. So I started listening to self help books and learning how to love my self I came to realize that it takes more than church to becoming a spiritual being .

Thank you for inviting me as a friend. I like your comment about church & being a spiritual being. I've realized for some time now that it is not "church" that makes you a better spiritual being. It is Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour and Him ONLY. People have different definitions of what church is. According to the Bible, the Church are people called out of the world to belong to Christ & to live His way. It is not a place to go on Sunday & "show out". I've been to "churches" who's members live worst than people in the world. To be a complete spiritual being we need Jesus Christ, not a building or meeting place. See John 4:20-26.
In reading your profile, I can tell you are a very talented person. I mean, having a business at 9 years old? Go girl. I know what you mean about McDonald's. I worked there as a teenager too. I hated it. :-) Thank God I'm blessed to work at home right now. I hope I never have to go back into the "rat race".

I love your page and your blog about life being like a road & how important it is that we make the right choices. I agree!
I even fashioned my backyard around that theme. My backyard is my "spiritual sanctuary". The name of my backyard is "Willow Pond" because those are the first two things you see when you walk back there a Willow Tree and a large pond that my husband and I built with a waterfall and two streams. I have pathways everywhere in the yard...some paths go uphill, some downhill, some go in circles, some lead no where and then some will fork in the road and you the traveler will have to decide which is the best/right path for you to take for your journery!
Just a little insight to me...I wfh (work from home) for Alpine Access (I just started) and love it! No 2 hr commute, no $400 a month in gas anymore and they are great because I only work for one client and no selling...all I do is tech support.
