Incredible Kindness

As I paid for my purchases at a store the other day, the checker thanked me and told me to have a nice day. Pretty usual stuff. But it suddenly struck me that the checker had - at a very fundamental level - made the choice to actively create something positive in an ordinary moment that he had some control over.
